May 1st - 2nd - Volunteers are needed on Monday, April 30th from 10:00 AM - 12:00 noon to help set up for the dinner and auction to be held on Tuesday May 1st at Larkin’s Sawmill and on Wednesday May 2nd to help out at the golf outing. The golf

Greer Family Fest
May 4th - 5th - This family friendly event features rides and activities, arts and crafts booths, and live entertainment. Aaron Tippin will be the featured entertainer on Saturday night. Volunteers are needed to staff two shifts (2 hours each) on Friday from 6:00 - 10:00 PM; Four shifts (3 hours each) are available on Saturday from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Adopt-A-Highway
May 19th -This year’s 2nd installment of Adopt-A Highway will be held on Saturday, May 19th.. We will meet at 9:00am in our usual spot at the parking area near the intersection of Hwy. 11 and Hwy. 25, approximately 15 miles past Traveler’s Rest. Working gloves will be supplied for all, and please wear suitable shoes (tennis shoes, hiking boots, etc). Pointed sticks, grabbers, vests, trash bags, and bottled water will be provided. Monthly Social
May 21st - Join us at the Blockhouse Restaurant and Oyster Bar on the third Monday of the month for our regular monthly social. Greenville Scottish Games
May 25 - 26th - Volunteers are needed Saturday May 26th. You will be part of a marquee event for the Upstate, contributing to the economy of our beloved Greenville area, helping to instill an appreciation for our Scottish heritage, and spreading fun and good times throughout the Kingdom. Volunteers will receive a jam-up T-shirt and warm memories of a spectacular event. Please put your T-shirt size on the sign up form next to your name. Taste of the Upstate
June 3rd - Taste of the Upstate will be held June 3, 2012 at the Embassy Suites on Verdae Boulevard from 5:30-9:30. Approximately 20 restaurants, 10 wine vendors and 2-3 microbrewers participate. Guests are entertained by a live band and there are silent and live auctions. Proceeds from the event stay in the Upstate and benefit Loaves and Fishes of Greenville. This is a great opportunity to contribute to your community as well as enjoy a fantastic event. There will be 2 shifts, 5:00-7:30 and 7:30-10:00. As a volunteer you attend the event and enjoy tasting food and beverages from the top restaurants in the Upstate during your off shift. Due to the cost of the event, all volunteers are charged $20.00. (Regular tickets price is $60.00).
